Chennai, Oct 18 (NationPress) The Tamil Nadu government reported on Saturday that the recently inaugurated two-day Tamil Nadu Global Startup Summit (TNGSS) 2025 was a tremendous success, laying a solid groundwork for startups to significantly contribute to Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's aspiration of a $1 trillion economy.
An official release highlighted that the summit attracted participants from 45 countries, with a total of 72,278 attendees, 115 investors, and numerous startup founders and innovators from around the globe.
The event, co-hosted by the state's Startup and Innovation Mission along with the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), acted as a vital global platform for Tamil Nadu's budding entrepreneurs.
During the summit, 23 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were executed, leading to investments totaling Rs 127.09 crore.
The government anticipates several more MoUs in the forthcoming months as dialogues with international investors and partners progress.
Major international partnerships were announced with France's Link Innovations, Canada's RXN Hub, and Asia Berlin from Germany.
