Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh), Nov 19 (NationPress) Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan remarked on Wednesday that the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba continue to resonate profoundly in the hearts of countless individuals around the globe.

She urged everyone to reaffirm their commitment to Baba's divine message of 'love all, serve all'.

"As we commemorate 100 years of the blessed advent of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, let us all recommit to his sacred message - love all, serve all. There exists only one caste - the caste of humanity. There exists only one religion - the religion of love. There exists only one language - the language of the heart, and there exists only one God, who is omnipresent," she declared while addressing the centenary celebrations of Sathya Sai Baba here.

Aishwarya, a former participant of the Sathya Sai Baba Bal Vikas program in Mumbai, noted that despite a century passing since Baba's divine birth, his presence, principles, teachings, guidance, and compassion persist in touching the hearts of millions globally.

"Standing here today, with utmost humility and sincerity, I can affirm that I have always kept his divine message close to my heart and integrated it into my life. Once a Bal Vikas student, always a Bal Vikas student," she expressed amid enthusiastic applause from hundreds of devotees and students of Sathya Sai Baba's educational institutions.

She expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for attending the centenary celebrations, stating that his presence brought sanctity and inspiration to the event and emphasizes Swami's message that true leadership is service, and serving humanity is akin to serving God.

Aishwarya highlighted that Sai Baba frequently referred to the five Ds, essential qualities for leading a meaningful, purpose-driven, and spiritually grounded life. "Discipline, the hallmark of true humanity, dedication, in all actions perform them as offerings to God, devotion, genuine devotion flows as love towards God, determination, once on the right path, never look back, and discrimination, the ability to discern between right and wrong, truth and untruth, which is at the heart of spiritual existence," she elaborated.

Aishwarya reminisced about Sai Baba's assertion that education should not merely be a means to earn a living, but rather it should be life itself.

"The Sathya Sai Baba educational system exemplifies this truth, encompassing everything from the Bal Vikas program to value-based institutions and even a multidisciplinary university that serves thousands of students free of charge every year, irrespective of discrimination and firmly grounded in values."

She mentioned that Baba provided India and the world with an unrivalled healthcare model.

Aishwarya pointed out that super-speciality hospitals in Puttaparthi, Whitefield, Kolkata, and Navi Mumbai offer world-class treatment free of cost to millions, demonstrating the five Cs he often spoke of: compassion, charity, character, calmness, and contentment, which should guide caring for humanity rather than commerce.

Aishwarya emphasized that Bal Vikas was much more than a weekly gathering.

"It served as a positive environment where values were not just taught but vibrantly experienced. Those formative years were a divine training ground that shaped minds, hearts, and spirits. We learned that embodying sathya, dharma, shanti, prema, and ahimsa in thought, word, and deed forms the foundation of all life practices. As Swami said, you are not one person but three: the person you think you are, the person others perceive you to be, and your true self. The true self is the athma, the divine reality within. Recognize it and live it," she concluded.
