Kohima, Nov 19 (NationPress) Officials announced on Wednesday that alongside the United Kingdom, both Switzerland and Ireland will serve as country partners for the upcoming Hornbill Festival in Nagaland.
A representative from the Tourism Department revealed that the Nagaland government has officially designated Switzerland and Ireland as country partners for the Hornbill Festival 2025, which signifies a significant advancement in the festival's evolution into a renowned global cultural event.
The news followed separate discussions with the ambassadors of both Switzerland and Ireland in New Delhi on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, together with Maya Tissafi, the Ambassador of Switzerland to India and Bhutan, formally announced Switzerland as a Country Partner for the Hornbill Festival.
