Hyderabad, Aug 29 (NationPress) The Anti-Corruption Bureau of Telangana revealed assets exceeding Rs 5 crore during operations against a Tahsildar on Friday. ACB officials executed searches at seven different locations connected to Bandi Nageswara Rao, the Tahsildar of Warangal Fort Mandal in the Warangal district.
A case has been initiated against Nageswara Rao for possessing disproportionate assets.
During the searches at properties associated with him and his family members, ACB discovered both movable and immovable assets, including a house valued at Rs 1.15 crore, 17.10 acres of agricultural land worth Rs 1.43 crore, 70 tola of gold ornaments, 1.791 kg of silver, 23 wristwatches, two cars, and one motorcycle, along with various household items.
The total estimated value of the identified assets is approximately Rs 5,02,25,198 based on documentation, according to the ACB.
