Hyderabad, Dec 3 (NationPress) Telangana's Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met prominent Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi in New Delhi on Wednesday to formally invite them to the 'Telangana Rising Global Summit', set to occur on December 8-9.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister, accompanied by the Deputy Chief Minister and Congress MPs from Telangana, met with the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, and party MP Priyanka Gandhi to extend the invitation for the summit.
During their discussion, the Chief Minister outlined the Vision Document that is slated to be unveiled at the summit.
Prominent attendees included Dr. Mallu Ravi, Kunduru Raghurveer Reddy, Suresh Shetkar, Kiran Kumar Reddy, Kadiyam Kavya, Gaddam Vamsi, Anil Kumar Yadav, and Government Advisor Jitender Reddy.
Earlier, the Chief Minister also met with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in Parliament to invite him to the Telangana Rising Global Summit.
In this discussion, he briefed the Union Minister on the Vision Document intended for the summit.
The Chief Minister held separate discussions with Urban Development Minister Manohar Lal and IT and Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to invite them to the summit as well.
After arriving in Delhi on Tuesday evening, the Chief Minister reached out to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to extend the invitation.
The summit aims to be the state's premier platform to showcase its developmental vision, significant infrastructure projects, investment opportunities, and the long-term roadmap titled 'Telangana Rising 2047'.
