Hyderabad, Dec 11 (NationPress) AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi expressed their congratulations to Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for the launch of the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document on Thursday.
The two AICC leaders commended the Chief Minister for creating a strategic plan for the development of the newly established state of Telangana as outlined in the vision document.
During his trip to the national capital, CM Revanth Reddy held individual meetings with Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi at their respective residences.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office, CM Reddy briefed them on the successful execution of the two-day Telangana Rising Global Summit and the unveiling of the vision document, which was attended by prominent business leaders and global investors.
Both AICC leaders expressed their immense satisfaction over the substantial investments secured from both domestic and international firms and the agreements made during the summit.
Attendees at the meetings included Minister Vivek Venkataswamy, MPs Suresh Shetkar, M Anil Kumar, P Balaram Naik, Dr Mallu Ravi, K Raghuveer Reddy, and Gaddam Vamshi Krishna.
Previously, Congress MPs Balram Naik, Suresh Shetkar, Dr Mallu Ravi, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, and M. Anil Kumar congratulated the Chief Minister for the successful organization of the Telangana Rising Global Summit.
During the two-day event on Monday and Tuesday, companies pledged to invest a staggering Rs 5.75 lakh crore in the state.
In a separate engagement, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy paid homage to former President Pranab Mukherjee in recognition of his birth anniversary.
The Chief Minister praised Mukherjee as a remarkable leader who devoted a lifetime to public service. He paid his respects at Mukherjee's residence in Delhi, offering tributes before his portrait and recalling the former president's contributions to the nation.
Minister Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy, along with MPs and party leader Rohin Reddy, were also present during this tribute.
