Hyderabad, Dec 31 (NationPress) Telangana's Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed optimism on Wednesday that the state will progress significantly in 2026, moving toward the ambitious Telangana Rising Vision 2047 objectives.
In his New Year address to the citizens of the state, the Chief Minister emphasized that the government remains committed to addressing the hopes and dreams of various segments of society, including farmers, women, and workers.
He conveyed his wishes for the New Year, expressing a desire for every family to achieve their aspirations and for all individuals to experience happiness and good health.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a joyous and prosperous New Year 2026 to all Indians, particularly to the people of Telangana,” he stated in his message.
Governor Jishnu Dev Varma also shared New Year wishes, hoping that 2026 brings good health, prosperity, fulfillment of aspirations, and enduring happiness.
“I urge everyone to dedicate themselves to the vision of Viksit Bharat by striving for a developed India through innovation, inclusive growth, and sustainable development, ensuring progress reaches every citizen,” the Governor mentioned in his address.
He called for continued efforts against social issues and health challenges, pushing towards an equitable, just, inclusive, peaceful, sustainable, and healthy society.
Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha extended New Year greetings to Telangana's populace, wishing health, happiness, and prosperity for every household, reaffirming the government's commitment to enhancing the public healthcare framework.
He highlighted key priorities for 2026, including a focus on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), the establishment of NCDC clinics and day care cancer clinics near villages, and strengthening emergency medical services with over 100 critical care blocks and trauma care centers, along with expanding 108 ambulance services for quicker responses.
Four new multi-specialty hospitals will be inaugurated in 2026, providing corporate-level care free of cost to the economically disadvantaged, he noted. The enhancement of medical colleges and teaching hospitals will proceed.
