Did Central Ministers from Telangana Criticize Rahul Gandhi for His Protest at the AI Summit?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Hyderabad, Feb 20 (NationPress) Central ministers representing Telangana have expressed their disapproval of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi following a shirtless protest allegedly organized by the Youth Congress during the ongoing India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi.
Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy accused Rahul Gandhi of engaging in “cheap politics, despicable actions, and shameful behavior,” which, he claims, have alienated India’s youth and entrepreneurs.
The protest aimed at Prime Minister Modi and the proposed India-US trade deal, which Congress alleges undermines India's sovereignty.
Kishan Reddy took to social media to criticize the Congress workers for disrupting the AI summit, describing their behavior as akin to “goondas and thugs.”
He stated, “At a time when India is celebrating clear and tangible outcomes from the AI summit, Rahul Gandhi's cheap politics, despicable actions, and shameful behaviour need to be called out. This is a huge insult to the passion and entrepreneurial spirit of our youth. Rather than encouraging them, Rahul Gandhi is spreading negativity and discouraging them.”
Reddy added that there has not been a single instance of Rahul Gandhi prioritizing India's interests, alleging that he uses every opportunity to undermine India's progress and portray the nation negatively. “The Indian people are now convinced that Rahul Gandhi has been totally compromised and is working against India's progress,” the BJP leader remarked.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar also criticized Congress, stating, “Congress has gone bonkers. Such a shameless double game! At the AI Summit, Congress creates chaos and does cheap theatrics in the name of shirtless protest directed by Rahul Gandhi.”
He pointed out that within the same venue, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of Congress was congratulating Prime Minister Modi for uniting the world's best minds.
Bandi Sanjay concluded, “One party. Two faces. Zero dignity. This is not opposition; this is an insult to the nation. This is political schizophrenia. When the tricolour is flying high on a global stage, you don’t play cheap politics at the gate. Nation first. Always.”
