Hyderabad, March 7 (NationPress) The Congress government in Telangana has convened a meeting of MPs from all political parties in the state this Saturday to deliberate on the state's unresolved matters with the Centre.

The government is expected to gather insights from the MPs on strategies to exert pressure on the Centre for the completion of pending projects, the allocation of funds, and the resolution of various other outstanding issues.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will be present at the gathering, which will take place at Praja Bhavan. The meeting will be led by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance and Planning Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.

An official statement has indicated that the meeting will focus on numerous state-related matters awaiting resolution by the Union Government.

The objective of the meeting is to empower the MPs to raise these outstanding issues in Parliament and engage with the Centre.

The Deputy Chief Minister personally reached out to Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay, and other MPs to invite them to this significant meeting.

Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar are among the eight Lok Sabha representatives of the BJP from the state. The Congress party also has eight members in the Lok Sabha, while AIMIM has one MP.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has four members in the Rajya Sabha, and the Congress party contributes three Rajya Sabha MPs, including Abhishek Singhvi and Renuka Chowdary.

Recently, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and various Central ministers to request the Centre's endorsement for the second phase of the Hyderabad Metro and other crucial infrastructure initiatives.

Revanth Reddy also advocated for the approval of the southern segment of the Regional Ring Road (RRR) and the Regional Ring Rail. Furthermore, he emphasized the necessity for the creation of dry ports along the RRR corridor.

The Chief Minister proposed the establishment of a dedicated Greenfield Road and a concurrent railway network, enabling seamless connectivity between Telangana’s dry ports and seaports in Andhra Pradesh.

Additionally, he requested ₹20,000 crore in central funding for an ambitious initiative aimed at reviving the Musi River in Hyderabad.

Moreover, Revanth Reddy urged the establishment of the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) in Telangana.

He also recently accused Kishan Reddy of obstructing the Centre’s approval for the second phase of the Hyderabad Metro and other projects, leading to a verbal exchange between the two.
