Hyderabad, Nov 16 (NationPress) Over 74,000 criminal cases have been resolved during the special Lok Adalat organized by the High Court of Telangana in collaboration with the Telangana State Legal Services Authority throughout the state.
This special Lok Adalat focused on amicably settling disputes between the involved parties through compounding.
The police in Telangana pinpointed suitable cases for resolution and issued notifications to both sides.
On Sunday, Charu Sinha, Additional Director General of Police, CID, stated that the settlement process commenced on October 27 and concluded on Saturday, with a total of 74,782 cases effectively settled.
