Hyderabad, March 19 (NationPress) Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy declared on Saturday that the administration, referred to as the “people’s government,” is devoted to enhancing the well-being of the farming community throughout Telangana State. The government aims to elevate farmers to a status of “king” by endorsing agriculture as a profitable means of livelihood.
During the ‘Sri Parabhava Nama Ugadi’ festivities held in Hyderabad, CM Reddy expressed that this new Telugu year is dedicated to the welfare of farmers, with a mission to transform agriculture into a lucrative profession, thus elevating farmers to a “king” status.

He also disclosed that the state has already allocated ₹18,000 crore for the 'Rythu Bharosa' program.
To alleviate the burden on indebted farmers, the Telangana government has waived off farm loans up to ₹2 lakh for each grower.
