Rewa, July 26 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to inaugurate a two-day regional tourism conclave at the Krishna Raj Kapoor Auditorium in Rewa this Saturday. The event aims to unleash the unexplored tourism potential of Madhya Pradesh’s Vindhya region.
Organized by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, this conclave will concentrate on boosting tourism investment, nurturing industry collaborations, and generating new economic opportunities within the burgeoning tourism landscape of the state. This initiative is part of a series leading to the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart, scheduled for this October in Bhopal.
Key figures such as Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, Tourism, Culture and Religious Trusts Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, and Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture Shiv Shekhar Shukla, who is also the Managing Director of the Tourism Board, will grace the event. The presence of Bollywood actor Mukesh Tiwari and actress Sanvika Singh, recognized for her role in the web series Panchayat, will add glamour to the occasion.
As per official reports, distinguished investors from the hospitality sector will be honored during the conclave. Chief Minister Yadav is anticipated to unveil several pivotal projects, including digital and infrastructural initiatives. A highlight will be the launch of the PM Paryatan Air Service Booking Portal, which will be integrated with the IRCTC platform.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) will also be signed between the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and MakeMyTrip to bolster tourism promotion and outreach.
During a virtual ceremony, the Chief Minister will lay the groundwork for the Spiritual Experience Project at Chitrakoot Ghat in Satna district and inaugurate a Tourist Facilitation Centre (FCI) in Shahdol.
The conclave, commencing at 6 PM, will feature a series of sessions designed to highlight investment prospects in the tourism sector. These discussions will include interactive dialogues between tour operators, hoteliers, investors, and government representatives, aimed at discovering development and marketing strategies.
To close the event, a Familiarisation Tour (FAM Tour) will be organized for selected guests and tourism professionals, providing them with firsthand exposure to Rewa’s tourism offerings and nearby attractions.
