Bhopal/New Delhi, Dec 12 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the three-day ‘Madhya Pradesh Utsav’ at the Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in New Delhi virtually on Friday.
Speaking from his residence in Bhopal, Yadav expressed his belief that after visiting the Madhya Pradesh Utsav, attendees would be encouraged to explore the state's natural beauty and rich biodiversity in person.
He extended an invitation for visitors to experience the Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, partake in safaris at the Tiger Reserves, appreciate the spiritual magnificence of Orchha and Mandu, and enjoy the unspoiled beauty of Pachmarhi.
Yadav emphasized that the state administration is closely collaborating with the Central government.
"Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state is progressing with determination," he further stated.
Rashmi Arun Shami, the Residential Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh Bhawan, mentioned that the primary aim of this three-day festival is to introduce the residents of Delhi-NCR to the attractions of Madhya Pradesh.
She added that the exhibition includes stalls presenting handicrafts, One District-One Product items, pottery, and tourism-related exhibits.
The festival will feature various cultural performances, including the Bundeli folk dance and folk dances by tribal artists from different regions of the state.
The program also comprises drawing contests, quizzes, a fancy dress competition for children, and a screening of the movie ‘Paan Singh Tomar’.
The festival will conclude with a recognition ceremony for participants, ensuring a memorable and dignified closing event. Entry to the Madhya Pradesh Utsav is free for all visitors.
