After experiencing the vibrant festival in Kutch, Chief Minister Yadav took to social media to convey his reflections, calling it an “inspiring example of how a barren land has been converted, with the involvement of farmers, into a tourism model.”
“I was part of the magnificent 'Rann Utsav' and witnessed the impressive arrangements of the world-class tent city. This serves as an inspiring testament to how a barren landscape has been transformed, with farmers' participation, into a beacon of tourism, livelihood, and development that the world is now observing,” the Chief Minister shared on X.
Praising the festival's allure and the artists' performances, Yadav remarked that the dynamic displays of folk artists and the rich cultural heritage of Gujarat provide this festival with a distinctive character.
“Initiated under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Rann Utsav in Kutch has emerged as a global emblem of India's cultural prowess and tourism potential,” he added.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the ‘Smriti Van’ in Bhuj (Gujarat), which honors the memories of earthquake victims, as a “symbol of compassion and resilience.”
