Kolkata, May 26 (NationPress) - On Monday, the Trinamool Congress directed 11 critical questions towards the Central government, challenging the so-called achievements after the completion of 11 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration. These inquiries were shared via the official Facebook and X account of the All India Trinamool Congress.
“Eleven years. Countless lies. Do you possess the courage to confront the people you’ve deceived?” the message commenced.
Interestingly, these questions were raised just three days ahead of the Prime Minister's significant twin meetings—one administrative and one political—in Alipurduar district of West Bengal, scheduled for May 29.
The initial question inquired about the fate of the pledge to deposit Rs 15 lakh into the accounts of every Indian citizen.
“What has become of the promise to recover black money?” queried the second question.
The third question addressed the fate of the commitment to generate two crore jobs annually.
The fourth and fifth questions challenged the assurances regarding doubling farmers' incomes and the whimsical statement of “every person wearing Hawai chappals flying in Hawai jahaz.”
“What happened to the pledge of establishing 100 smart cities?” and “What about the promise to bolster the Indian rupee?” were the sixth and seventh inquiries.
The eighth question scrutinized the goal of transforming India into a five-trillion dollar economy by 2024.
“What is the status of reducing petrol and diesel prices?” posed the ninth question, while the tenth focused on the assurance of a “corruption-free India.”
Lastly, the 11th question asked, “Why did ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’ devolve into ‘Jinka Sath, Unka Vikas’?”
