Lucknow, Dec 30 (NationPress) As we prepare to welcome the New Year, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath penned an open letter to the residents of the state, reflecting on the significant advancements in AI and governance achieved in 2025. He encouraged the youth to commit to raising computer awareness among children in the upcoming year.
In his letter, CM Adityanath emphasized, “I urge my young friends to make a noteworthy resolution for 2026. Enlighten 5 children around you about computers and AI. Allocate at least one hour weekly for 'Gyan Daan’ (knowledge donation),” as stated in the letter that he shared on social media.
The Chief Minister remarked, “As we transition into the year 2026, 2025 will be remembered for setting new standards in technology, AI, and data. Uttar Pradesh is creating new benchmarks for progressive development.”
The era of effective governance in the state has enhanced the reputation of 'Brand UP' globally. He highlighted that Uttar Pradesh has become a state of trust for investors.
CM Adityanath stressed the importance of law and order, stating, “Investments can only flourish in a secure society. The commendable governance in the state has fortified ‘Brand UP’ on the international stage. Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a hub of investor confidence.”
Discussing future innovation plans in technology, AI, and data, he shared, “Plans are in motion to develop 'AI City' in Lucknow and Noida. A semiconductor facility is being established in Jewar with an investment of ₹3,700 crore. The outcomes of our data center policy, designed with 'Swadeshi Centre, Secure Data’ principles, are beginning to show promising results.”
“The commercial deployment of 5 hyperscale data center parks has commenced, with a target of ₹30,000 crore investment in the data center industry. Software technology parks have been set up in 9 cities, and we are setting new records in domains like drones, robotics, and mobile production. Through ‘AI Pragya’, we are providing AI training to one million citizens, creating thousands of new job opportunities,” he noted.
In his appeal to residents, CM Adityanath emphasized that a collaborative effort with the government is essential to realize the vision of ‘Viskit Uttar Pradesh’.
