As part of this initiative, the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, in collaboration with the Union Ministry of External Affairs, organized a week-long event called the Bodhi Yatra, under the Mekong-Ganga Cooperation (MGC) framework.
The familiarization tour, which took place from June 2 to June 7, aimed to showcase significant locations within the state's Buddhist circuit. A delegation of 50 members from five ASEAN countries—Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam—took part in this enlightening journey.
