The UP Police reassured the public, stating they “remain vigilant, equipped, and fully prepared to ensure the safety of every citizen. Jay Hind!”
In light of this directive, security has been strengthened across all critical locations and general security measures have been heightened.

On X, CM Yogi declared, “Jai Hind, Jai Hind ki Sena!”
Following the Pahalgam terror attack, which took the lives of 26 civilians, India initiated 'Operation Sindoor', successfully targeting nine significant terror sites deep within Pakistani territory.
The operation was carried out with surgical precision and was closely supervised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior security officials throughout the night.
The Indian Army confirmed that the strikes were carefully planned and executed, ensuring no civilian or military infrastructure in Pakistan was impacted. The action specifically targeted facilities associated with terrorist groups responsible for the April 22 Pahalgam incident, which resulted in the deaths of 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources indicated that the Prime Minister maintained ongoing communication with top military leaders and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval during the operation.
Official accounts reported that the nine targets included camps and logistical centers linked to terror organizations operating from Pakistan and PoK.
The Indian Army’s spokesperson highlighted the precise nature of the strikes, asserting, “Our actions have been focused and precise. We have solely targeted terrorist camps from where attacks on India have been orchestrated and executed.”
