Speaking at an event in Udham Singh Nagar, the Chief Minister remarked, “The tribal community is the pride of our state. For their empowerment, we are enhancing health and education facilities in 128 villages through the Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan. Various schemes are being implemented to provide improved opportunities for students.”
On that day, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for Maharana Pratap Government College, inaugurated the Nagar Panchayat office building, and kicked off a cycle rally during the Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, also known as Tribal Pride Day, celebrated on the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda at Nanakmatta (Udham Singh Nagar).

CM Dhami criticized previous administrations for failing to acknowledge the significant contributions of the tribal community to the nation's development and independence.
“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the tribal community is finally receiving the respect it deserves. Today, no one can undermine the history and traditions of the tribal community,” he asserted.
Furthermore, he offered prayers at Gurdwara Shri Nanakmatta Sahib for the well-being and prosperity of the state's residents.
During the event, key announcements were made, including the establishment of a free coaching center, the development of Nanakmatta as a tourist destination, and the renaming of the Khatima bus station after Maharana Pratap, as shared by the CM on X.
