New Delhi, Jan 26 (NationPress) Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw engaged with the esteemed invitees from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program, who were honored as distinguished guests for the 76th Republic Day Parade. The event took place at Akashvani Bhawan, hosted by Akashvani, the radio division of India’s public broadcasting service.

Prime Minister Modi highlighted these individuals in his Mann Ki Baat segment.

These remarkable individuals have made significant strides in areas like education, environment, social welfare, and innovation, profoundly influencing society and motivating countless individuals across the nation.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw expressed, 'It brings immense joy that all the individuals mentioned by Prime Minister Modi in his Mann Ki Baat program are with us today.' He added, 'I am thrilled to meet these remarkable people. The Prime Minister is performing a yagna to communicate the positive narratives of individuals to the public through Mann Ki Baat. I extend my gratitude to him and to all these individuals.'

Sulochana Kumawat, who established an NGO in Rajasthan’s Sikar in 2011, shared, 'We initiated our tailoring center in 2011 as a non-profit. In 2018, PM Modi showcased our story in the Mann Ki Baat program. This center was created to train girls who were engaged in garbage collection. Currently, we have numerous children involved. We bring these girls out of slums and provide them training here.'

Mukta, an elderly resident of Gujarat, commented, 'When Prime Minister Modi mentioned my name in the Mann Ki Baat program, it brought me great joy. PM Modi is commendably supporting those who contribute small efforts for the country, and I express my gratitude for that.'

Shubham Badhani from Nainital, Uttarakhand, stated, 'We operate the Ghoda Library in remote hilly villages of Nainital with our team. The concept of Ghoda Library is to deliver a mobile library to communities lacking road access. Even in adverse weather, our library reaches every household, providing free literature to children and women. Our current emphasis is on children’s literature, with plans for future expansions.'

Subhash Kamboj from Yamunanagar, Haryana, mentioned, 'I have been involved in beekeeping for the past 28 years. Initially, I maintained five cans for personal use, but as I noticed honey production increasing, I expanded to over 2000 bee boxes. Now, I mentor others in this field. The government sends me to various venues, including IIMs, to train farmers and experts. The Prime Minister has acknowledged my work twice in the Mann Ki Baat program.'
