New Delhi, Jan 25 (NationPress) The President of the Delhi BJP, Virendra Sachdeva, engaged with the 130th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio program on Sunday, praising his inspiring message aimed at young voters.
“In celebration of National Voters’ Day today, PM Modi encouraged the youth who have just turned 18 to participate in voting and emphasized the significance of hygiene and environmental conservation,” Sachdeva noted after listening to the monthly broadcast at the Arya Samaj Mandir in Ramesh Nagar.
As per Delhi BJP's Mann Ki Baat Convenor, Rajan Tiwari, a communal listening event was organized at 6,487 booth locations.
Among those who joined the Delhi BJP chief in tuning into ‘Mann Ki Baat’ were Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, MP Bansuri Swaraj, MLA Harish Khurana, and District President Virendra Babbar.
Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra also listened to the program at Vivekanand School, Vivek Vihar, alongside MLA O.P. Sharma, Anil Goyal, District President Deepak Gaba, and school faculty.
State General Secretary Vishnu Mittal tuned in with residents from the jhuggis in the Rajendra Nagar Assembly constituency.
After the session at the Arya Samaj Mandir, Sachdeva told the media that 'Mann Ki Baat' is a source of knowledge.
“It is a platform for learning, and today we witnessed how the Prime Minister explained various topics in an easily understandable manner,” he stated.
Sachdeva mentioned that the Prime Minister discussed ongoing initiatives under Startup India and mentioned the upcoming AI Summit scheduled for next month.
“Through this program, PM Modi continuously strives to present diverse information on a global stage,” he added.
He highlighted the Prime Minister’s remarks on the guards of Panna and their efforts in conserving Ayurvedic medicines.
Sachdeva emphasized that 'Mann Ki Baat' should resonate with children as well. It provides valuable information, raises awareness, and offers substantial learning opportunities.
Tokhan Sahu stated that through the 'Mann Ki Baat' program, the Prime Minister brings to light the country’s hidden talents, inspiring everyone to connect with the program.
He mentioned how the Prime Minister reinforced the importance of democracy by encouraging respect for the youth upon reaching voting age.
Sahu also pointed out that public involvement can lead to the cleaning of our rivers and ponds. PM Modi, through 'Mann Ki Baat', showcases numerous talents, inspiring citizens to contribute positively to society.
Bansuri Swaraj expressed that 'Mann Ki Baat' is a highly anticipated program, stating that one could witness the narrative of India’s progress in every household across the nation — a motivating story that PM Modi shares with every Indian.
“Moreover, it transcends India’s borders; there were references to Malaysia, Tamil schools, and heritage societies that are pivotal in preserving Indian culture,” she mentioned.
Swaraj also noted that Gen-Z trends, such as bhajan clubbing, were discussed by PM Modi.
“We also learned how the youth initiative in Arunachal Pradesh led to the removal of 11 lakh kg of waste from water bodies and how dedicated efforts by Indians have revitalized rivers like the Tamsa. It’s such an inspiring program from which we all glean valuable lessons and resolve to incorporate each message into our lives,” she concluded.
