A defence representative mentioned that the Armed Forces Veterans Day is celebrated annually on January 14 to honor the legacy of valor, dedication, and selfless service of the veteran armed forces community.
This year, in line with tradition, Veterans Day was celebrated at Narangi Military Station in Assam with enthusiasm and a spirit of brotherhood.
Notable army veterans, including Air Marshal Anjan Gogoi, Major General JP Prasad, Major General Kamal Pathak, and Brigadier Polash Choudhury, Director of the Rajya Sainik Board, Assam, along with numerous other veteran officers and Junior Commissioned Officers, attended the event.
