Patna, June 26 (NationPress) Prashant Kishor, the leader of Jan Suraaj, took aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav concerning the challenges that Bihar faces. He urged the public to prioritize their children's future when casting their votes in the upcoming elections.
During a large public meeting in Barhara, Kishor criticized Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad, stating that their decades-long governance has relegated Bihar to a position of backwardness, transforming it into a state that primarily exports labor.
“Children from Ara and Bhojpur are compelled to seek work as laborers in Gujarat. Meanwhile, PM Modi solicits your votes while establishing factories in Gujarat,” Kishor questioned the audience.
“If your vote is crucial, why are the factories in Gujarat instead of Bihar?” he inquired. The audience responded enthusiastically, raising their hands in agreement.
In a fervent appeal, Kishor encouraged voters to abandon established political affiliations.
“Do not support leaders who have exploited you and jeopardized your children’s future. In the next election, prioritize education and job opportunities for your children over Lalu Prasad Yadav, Nitish Kumar, or PM Modi,” Kishor implored.
He asserted that genuine transformation in Bihar would occur only when citizens vote for their own interests rather than for politicians.
“Establish a people's governance in Bihar. Vote while considering your children's futures, not the faces of leaders,” he emphasized.
Kishor's convoy received jubilant welcomes in numerous towns on his journey from Patna to Bhojpur.
Supporters greeted him with drums, garlands, and slogans in various locations such as Kayamnagar Bazaar, Bakhorapur, Nekham Tola, Saraiya Bazaar, Balua Bazaar, among others.
Before his meetings, Kishor also paid respects at the Bakhorapur temple, demonstrating his connection to grassroots issues.
He expressed gratitude to the Election Commission for designating the “School Bag” as the election symbol of the Jan Suraj Party, referring to it as a beacon of hope, education, and transformation.
“This school bag is a pathway to eradicate poverty, illiteracy, and unemployment in Bihar,” he proclaimed.
In discussions with reporters following the event, Prashant Kishor affirmed that education is the cornerstone of Jan Suraaj’s philosophy.
“Transforming Bihar hinges on education, and the school bag embodies that mission,” he stated.
He stressed that Jan Suraaj envisions a future where the children of Bihar carry school bags instead of migrating as laborers.
“This is not merely a symbol; it conveys a message to every household that we are committed to your children's future,” Kishor concluded.
