Lucknow, June 10 (NationPress) The chief of the Samajwadi Party, Akhilesh Yadav, has launched a fierce critique against the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh, claiming it has misled the public regarding the actual death toll from the recent Maha Kumbh Mela and the cash compensation provided to the families of those who tragically lost their lives during the stampede.

"This is merely the beginning of unveiling the truth -- a truth that will strip away every layer of deception, uncover every mask, and reveal every act of dishonesty," he asserted.

"They are perched upon a mountain of falsehoods, claiming moral superiority. Even their own members, who spread false statistics, are now being revealed," he concluded.
