New Delhi, June 21 (NationPress) On Saturday, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla spearheaded the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) celebrations at the Parliament grounds. Members from both Houses united to emphasize the importance of integrating yoga into everyday life.

Celebrated worldwide every June 21, the International Day of Yoga was initially suggested by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 and was promptly recognized by the United Nations, receiving backing from 177 nations. This day has evolved into a global homage to India's rich wellness heritage.
