The Civil Aviation Ministry, in collaboration with the Airports Authority of India (AAI), joyfully commemorated the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY-2025) in the capital.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from officers and staff of both the Ministry and AAI, underscoring a strong commitment to physical, mental, and spiritual wellness within the aviation domain.

A special video message from Naidu was showcased during the event, where he expressed warm wishes and praised the endeavors of MoCA and AAI for orchestrating a significant celebration.

The minister highlighted that initiatives such as the Fit India Movement, the Anti-Obesity campaign, and the annual celebration of Yoga Day, all spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aim to inspire physical activity and well-being.

This year’s theme – ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’ – he noted, elegantly links yoga with sustainability and global wellness.

During his address, Samir Kumar Sinha, Secretary of MoCA, encouraged attendees to integrate yoga into their daily routines rather than limiting it to a single day.

He emphasized that dedicating time each day to yoga, pranayama, and meditation can enhance health while bringing energy, discipline, and balance to life.

The ministry reaffirmed its dedication to wellness and holistic health by actively engaging in this nationwide celebration inspired by PM Modi’s vision.
