Lucknow, March 23 (NationPress) In celebration of the eight years of the Yogi Adityanath administration, the government of Uttar Pradesh has organized a series of events and grand festivities starting from March 25, the anniversary of when he and his cabinet assumed office for their second term.
A three-day ‘awareness and information dissemination’ initiative is set to take place across numerous districts to promote various government welfare programs and also to encourage citizens to participate in them.
The festivities commemorating the eight years of the BJP government in the state will commence with a public address by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday. The CM is anticipated to present his ‘report card’, highlighting several impactful and innovative initiatives undertaken during his tenure. A significant portion of his remarks is expected to focus on the successful organization of the Maha Kumbh, the largest religious congregation globally, held in Prayagraj.
To mark the occasion, a three-day program will be executed in all districts, where government officials will facilitate the enrollment of beneficiaries for various welfare schemes provided by the state.
A directive in this regard has reportedly been issued by Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh. As per reports, the ministers in charge will inaugurate the program in various districts alongside local public representatives, emphasizing the developmental projects accomplished over the past eight years.
Additionally, an exhibition will be held at multiple locations to display the achievements of the Yogi administration over the last eight years.
Importantly, CM Yogi Adityanath has consistently reiterated his government’s ambition to transform the state into a one-trillion-dollar economy by the year 2029.
Simultaneously, a large-scale 'School Chalo Abhiyan' is scheduled to occur from April 1 to April 15 and for 15 days in July. During this timeframe, teachers, village heads, and members of the village panchayat will collaborate to make this event feel festive for the children. Educators and principals will visit villages and engage with families to encourage children to attend school.
