How is Adani University Shaping Future Innovators with 'Navdiksha 2025'?

Ahmedabad, July 24 (NationPress) Adani University has officially launched its academic induction initiative, 'Navdiksha 2025', welcoming a new cohort of students into its premier integrated BTech+MBA/M Tech programmes.

This event, which took place earlier this week, highlighted the university’s dedication to equipping India’s youth for a transformative industrial era driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI), sustainability, and national development.

In his opening address, Professor Sunil Jha, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, emphasized the growing significance of physics, chemistry, and mathematics in the context of “physical AI”.

Professor Jha encouraged students to look beyond mere coding and grasp the mechanics of the physical world. “As AI merges with robotics and automation, understanding physical laws will determine your success,” he stated.

Prominent management consultant and Harvard alumnus, Dr. Ram Charan, shared insights from his extensive six-decade career.

“Discover your innate talent, pursue it with dedication, and maintain a constant thirst for knowledge,” he advised, encouraging students to engage in daily self-reflection, ask incessant questions, and view their university experience as a journey of discovery and fulfillment.

The integrated BTech+MBA/M Tech programmes align with the government’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, reflecting the university’s mission to nurture profound scientific knowledge, multidisciplinary education, and leadership in practical applications across technology, energy, and infrastructure.

Dr. Ravi P. Singh, Provost of Adani University, welcomed students from diverse backgrounds across India, stressing that the integrated programmes—covering fields from computer science to energy engineering—are designed to empower them to make a tangible impact in the world.

“Whether your interest lies in AI, sustainability, or infrastructure, you are in the right place at the right time,” he noted. He also encouraged students to forge their own paths rather than follow the crowd, viewing learning as a means of contributing to nation-building.

Additionally, Sudipta Bhattacharya, Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) of the Adani Group, outlined an inspiring vision for the future. He positioned the AI revolution as the first industrial transformation that challenges human cognition, urging students to become audacious and inquisitive innovators.

“Machines are capable of thought. However, only humans can believe, collaborate, and create with intent,” he asserted.

Bhattacharya also pointed out the Adani Group’s ambitious $90 billion investment initiative as a significant opportunity for future professionals in technology and infrastructure.
