New Delhi, Dec 4 (NationPress) The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) has joined forces with Hitachi MGRM Net (HMN) to expedite the enhancement of innovation and entrepreneurship throughout the nation, as announced by Niti Aayog on Thursday.
This collaboration, formalized through a Statement of Intent signed on December 1, aims to establish a unified Innovation Platform named "MStar Global AI Connect", which will utilize artificial intelligence (AI) and various innovative technologies to cultivate a thriving culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across India.
The partnership is pivotal in actualizing the vision of "Viksit Bharat" and will facilitate the creation of a national-scale digital infrastructure that connects educational institutions in rural, suburban, and urban areas of India with mentors, research organizations, incubators, accelerators, and industry stakeholders.
This initiative is set to strengthen the school-to-startup pipeline, hasten the transition of Indian innovations from labs to markets, and ensure the global competitiveness of Indian innovations.
Dr. Deepak Bagla, Director of AIM, stated, "Atal Innovation Mission has always believed that every child is a potential innovator. This partnership will help us identify and foster this potential in our young people. It will enable us to move from isolated success stories to a structured, scalable, and inclusive pipeline of innovators, startups, and job creators. It will help achieve the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the Atal Innovation Mission, to make innovation a nationwide movement starting from our schools."
Dr. Bharat Kaushal, Executive Chairman of Hitachi India, added, "Our vision with MStar Global AI Connect is simple: to instill a problem-solving and innovation mindset in every willing child in India, providing them access to mentors, incubators, industries, and markets. We are excited to collaborate with Niti Aayog and Atal Innovation Mission to build an inclusively designed platform that is multilingual, accessible, and aligned with India's long-term development objectives."
This collaborative effort will unify innovation resources across India, elevate teacher capabilities, facilitate advanced technology training, stimulate intellectual property creation, and nurture talent that is prepared for future challenges through a coherent innovation framework.
