New Delhi, Dec 25 (NationPress) India achieved its highest engineering goods exports of the fiscal year, reaching $11.01 billion in November, propelled by a favorable base effect and a substantial rise in shipments to the US and EU, according to industry data released on Thursday.

Shipments to India's primary markets, the US and the EU, saw remarkable growth in November this year. Exports to the EU experienced a significant 39 percent increase compared to the preceding two months.

In November, engineering exports marked an impressive 23.76 percent growth over the same month last year, where shipments totaled $8.90 billion, as reported by EEPC India.

“Engineering exports surpassed the $11 billion milestone in November 2025, a significant achievement for this fiscal year. This reflects the unwavering determination of the exporting community, which swiftly rebounded from a 17 percent year-on-year decline in engineering exports in October 2025,” stated Pankaj Chadha, Chairman of EEPC India.

The growth in engineering exports indicates a positive trend in global trade, he emphasized.

Chadha commended the Union Cabinet's approval of the Export Promotion Mission (EPM), highlighting that recent trade agreements with Oman and New Zealand are expected to further boost engineering goods exports.

“We are optimistic that upcoming FTAs with the EU and the BTA with the US will also be beneficial for us. Overall, both global and domestic trade signals are positive, which bodes well for exporters; however, they must remain vigilant due to increasing volatility in global trade,” he added.

Out of 34 product categories, as many as 32 recorded higher exports in November 2025 compared to the previous year.

Exports in segments such as motor vehicles/cars, ships, boats and floating structures, industrial machinery for agriculture and dairy, electric machinery and equipment, and copper and copper products were notably strong during this period.
