New Delhi, Sep 8 (NationPress) In a historic moment for Indian para sports, 35 athletes from India are set to make their debut at the World Para Athletics Championships scheduled from September 27 to October 5 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Among them is Mahendra Gurjar, who recently made headlines by establishing a world record in the men’s F42 javelin category with a remarkable throw of 61.17 metres during the Nottwil World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Switzerland. He is currently training in Patiala and is eager to maintain his excellent form and leave a mark at his inaugural World Championships.
"This championship transcends medals—it's about showcasing the indomitable spirit and talent of Indian para athletes.
