Ahmedabad, Dec 22 (NationPress) The Gujarat Polo Club is gearing up to host the Ahmedabad Polo Tournament from January 2 to 4, representing a major initiative to revive the sport and establish it as a premier annual sporting event in the state.

This prestigious tournament will feature six exceptional teams, including representatives from the Jindal Group, the Adani Group, and two women's teams. The event is crafted to be a tribute to sport, culture, and heritage, providing an enriching experience that goes beyond the matches. Attendees can enjoy heritage displays, equine showcases, family-friendly spectator areas, and engaging activities for young fans.

The event will kick off with a spectacular ceremonial parade, showcasing all six polo teams on horseback, proudly displaying illuminated team and sponsor flags, setting the atmosphere for the three-day extravaganza.

The opening ceremony will also feature a captivating performance by a troupe of 80 dancers alongside the Warrior Squad, known for their appearances on the international reality show America’s Got Talent.

The tournament trophy will be officially revealed by actor and former Miss World, Manushi Chhillar.

Entertainment will be a highlight throughout the three days, with the second day boasting Bollywood dance performances and thrilling stunts by the renowned acrobatic dance group V Unbeatable. The final day will showcase dance acts followed by a Mallakhamba display, concluding with a vibrant finale featuring a Tron performance.

Musical performances will accompany the matches, complemented by carefully curated fireworks displays that enrich the celebratory atmosphere while maintaining the event's sophistication.

The closing ceremony will feature synchronized fireworks, laser shows, and light choreography, culminating in an awards presentation. Winners and exceptional performers will be recognized on a specially designed stage that reflects the sport's prestige and tradition.
