Liverpool, April 13 (NationPress) Alisson Becker has made his return to the starting lineup for Liverpool’s match at Anfield against West Ham United. The goalkeeper is included in the Reds' XI after missing the previous two matches due to concussion protocols.
In total, Arne Slot has implemented four changes from last weekend's game against Fulham, with Conor Bradley, Luis Diaz, and Kostas Tsimikas also rejoining the squad.
Head coach Slot also addressed the Liverpool supporters in the matchday programme, urging them to bring their best as Liverpool strives to conclude the Premier League title race swiftly.
"We need you to be at your best for the remaining games we have at Anfield this season. The atmosphere during our last home game was incredibly special, particularly in the moments after Diogo Jota scored the crucial goal. West Ham United Head Coach Graham Potter has made two adjustments to his starting XI, with Greece international centre-back Dinos Mavropanos and Spanish midfielder Carlos Soler both making their appearances at Anfield, replacing Edson Álvarez and Tomas Soucek.
Mavropanos returns to the starting XI after a substitute appearance in last Saturday’s 2-2 draw with AFC Bournemouth, as Potter switches back to a defensive five.
Meanwhile, Soler, who was acquired on loan from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, is back in the squad to make his first Premier League start since the home loss to Brentford in mid-February.
Otherwise, Potter has retained the same nine players who began the match against London Stadium eight days prior.
