Charith Asalanka will take the helm as captain, while Sadeera Samarawickrama returns to the squad after last playing an ODI against New Zealand in November of the previous year.
Having scored back-to-back centuries in the ongoing Test series against Bangladesh, right-handed batsman Pathum Nissanka will look to maintain his excellent form in the upcoming ODI encounters.
Key players including Kusal Mendis, Avishka Fernando, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Maheesh Theekshana are all expected to participate in these 50-over matches.
Milan Rathnayake, who missed the second Test due to an injury, is included in the ODI squad, contingent upon a fitness evaluation.

Following the ODIs, both teams will clash in a three-match T20I series starting on July 10.
The two teams are currently involved in the second Test of their two-match series in Colombo, with the opening game ending in a draw in Galle last week.
In the recent home ODI series against Australia prior to the ICC Champions Trophy earlier this year, Sri Lanka achieved a clean sweep in the two-match series but struggled to replicate that success in the eight-team competition held in Pakistan.
