Mumbai, December 19 (NationPress) The top four seeds in the men’s division continued to shine at the 80th CCI Western India Squash, smoothly advancing to the quarterfinals on Friday.
Men’s top seed Veer Chotrani decisively defeated Rounak Yadav with scores of 11-7, 11-2, and 11-5. The second seed, Suraj Chand, faced a slight challenge but managed to edge out Hridhaan Shah with scores of 11-9, 11-9, and 11-8 at the Cricket Club of India (CCI).
“I had a great time on the court. I usually don’t play early in the morning, but it was very enjoyable. I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead,” remarked Chotrani.
