The Jamaican sprinter, who has trained with the Manchester United football team and sought to turn professional in 2017, spoke fondly of his admiration for cricket during a recent visit to Mumbai.

Still holding the World Record for the Men's 100m at 9.58 seconds and the 200m at 19.19 seconds, Bolt emphasized that his journey was fueled by his passion for the sport. “I was a huge cricket fan growing up. Observing the skills and dedication of cricketers inspired me to strive for excellence in my field,” he stated during a 'Fireside chat' at the Jamnabai Narsee Campus.

Usain's visit to Mumbai was part of a corporate event, and he expressed his amazement at the energy of Indian sports fans. “Being in India is an incredible experience.
