RTM can be applied only for players in Category A, B, or C, and it is not applicable for Marquee players.

Player selection rules for new franchises:
The two new franchises can select one player from the remaining pool after the original franchises finalize their retention choices.
This selection can be from any category: Marquee, A, B, or C, with deductions made from their auction purse based on the player's category (as mentioned earlier).
The franchise with a higher acquisition value will have the first choice in player selection.
