East Zone's Quarter-Final Dominance

East Zone swept past North East Zone by an innings and 210 runs in the quarter-final, with all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed the standout performer. His knock of 167 combined with a 150-run partnership alongside centurion Sudip Kumar Gharami (146) powered the Ishan Kishan-led side to a commanding total of 467. Medium-pacer Abhijit K Sarkar then took 5 for 20 and Shahbaz claimed 3 for 20 to bowl Rongsen Jonathan's North East side out for 111, enforcing a follow-on.

In the follow-on, North East Zone were dismissed for 146 — no batter reaching fifty. Anukul Roy starred with a five-wicket haul, while Sooryavanshi contributed two wickets in what was described as a surprise bowling move.

The Central Zone Challenge

The semifinal will be a markedly stiffer examination. Central Zone, captained by Rajat Patidar, arrive as defending champions with considerable firepower. Rinku Singh, Harsh Dubey, Yash Thakur, and Saransh Jain — who recently made his India debut in Colombo against Sri Lanka — all add depth and experience to a squad that will be difficult to dislodge. North Zone Edge Past West in a Close Quarter-Final

North Zone, led by Kanhaiya Wadhawan, beat the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led West Zone by 52 runs in a tightly contested quarter-final. North posted 251 in their first innings, aided by a late-order 60 from Anshul Kamboj. Abid Mushtaq was the wrecker-in-chief, taking a five-wicket haul in the first innings to help North establish a 44-run lead.

In the second innings, Ayush Badoni hit 50 and Nishant Sindhu contributed 44 as North reached 222. Mushtaq again delivered with 4 for 60 and Sindhu took 2 for 59 as West Zone were denied a chase of 286 on the final day.

South Zone's Star-Studded Line-Up

South Zone, captained by India T20I vice-captain Tilak Varma, carry significant firepower of their own. Karun Nair, Shreyas Gopal, N Jagadeesan, and R Smaran (Smaran Ravichandran) add considerable depth to a side that will test North Zone's bowling attack. South's batting depth and the quality of their spinners make them a genuine title contender.
