Kakinada, Aug 6 (NationPress) Manipur Hockey, Hockey Uttarakhand, and Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu triumphed in their final league matches as Hockey Himachal ended in a draw with Hockey Association of Bihar on the sixth day, marking the conclusion of all Division ‘B’ matches of the 15th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship.
In the opening match, Manipur Hockey secured a victory against Assam Hockey with a score of 3-1, thanks to two goals from Kangjam Silvia Chanu (27’, 49’) and one from Devi Mutum Priya (26’). The sole goal for Assam Hockey was netted by Ashmita Tigga (20’).
The following match showcased Hockey Uttarakhand's dominating performance as they crushed Hockey Kerala 7-0. Captain Saloni Pilkhwal scored a hat-trick (9’, 31’, 46’), while Raeen Kehkasha Ali (4’, 14’) and Aarti (40’, 45’) contributed with two goals each.
The next encounter saw Hockey Himachal and Hockey Association of Bihar settle for a 1-1 draw, with goals from Bhoomi (12’) and Khushi Kumari (11’) respectively.
