Farewell to SRH: Bhuvneshwar Kumar Reflects on 11 Remarkable Years

New Delhi, Nov 28 (NationPress) Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar announced his departure from Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday, concluding an impressive tenure of over ten years with the franchise. He expressed his heartfelt thanks for the 'unforgettable and cherished' moments he experienced during his time with the team.

During the IPL 2025 Auction, Bhuvneshwar made headlines as he was acquired by Royal Challengers Bengaluru for Rs 10.75 crore, rejoining the franchise where he played in the 2009 and 2010 seasons at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

'After 11 remarkable years with SRH, I bid farewell to this team. I hold countless unforgettable and cherishable memories. The unwavering love from the fans has been exceptional! Your support has been consistent, and I will carry this love and encouragement with me always,' Bhuvneshwar shared on X, accompanied by a video compilation celebrating his journey with SRH.

Bhuvneshwar kicked off his IPL career in 2009 with RCB but did not play during the initial two seasons, later moving to the now-defunct Pune Warriors.

After three seasons there, he joined Sunrisers in 2014 and became the franchise's all-time leading wicket-taker, having played 176 matches and taken 181 wickets in the league.
