FIFA Club World Cup Draw: Real Madrid Set to Face Al Hilal, Man City Matched with Juventus

Miami, Dec 6 (NationPress) The reigning European champions, Real Madrid CF, are set to compete against Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, while Premier League champions Manchester City have been placed in Group G where they will face Moroccan side Wydad, Al Ain from the UAE, and Italian giants Juventus in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 following the draw for the new 32-team tournament in the USA.
The draw took place at the Telemundo Center in Miami, USA, and also placed Chelsea in Group D alongside Brazilian side Flamengo, African representatives Esperance Sportive de Tunis, and Club Leon from Mexico.
In Group H, CF Pachuca of Mexico and FC Salzburg will face off against Brazil's SE Palmeiras, while Group A features FC Porto, Egyptian football giants Al Ahly FC, and Inter Miami CF.
Group E consists of Argentina's CA River Plate, Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan, CF Monterrey from Mexico, and FC Internazionale Milano of Italy, while Group C includes German powerhouse FC Bayern München, OFC representatives Auckland City FC, Argentina's CA Boca Juniors, and SL Benfica from Portugal.
Group B is made up of the European duo Paris Saint-Germain and Atlético de Madrid, alongside recently crowned Copa Libertadores champions Botafogo and Seattle Sounders FC from the USA. Completing the tournament lineup is Group F, where Brazil's Fluminense FC will go up against Borussia Dortmund of Germany, Ulsan HD from Korea Republic, and Mamelodi Sundowns FC of South Africa.
All teams are categorized into eight groups of four, competing in a round-robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the knockout stages.
The inaugural match is scheduled at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on June 15, 2025, while the final will take place on July 13, 2025 at MetLife Stadium in New York, New Jersey.
