New Delhi, Jan 16 (NationPress) - Red Bull Racing has unveiled their latest livery for the upcoming Formula 1 2026 season during a spectacular event at Michigan Central Station. The team, based in Milton Keynes, showcased their new design in Detroit, the city known for Ford, with whom they are partnering to create their inaugural Formula 1 Power Unit.
In an impressive display, Red Bull driver Martin Sonka dramatically revealed the vehicle by tearing off its cover with his aircraft.
The energy drink brand, which joined the sport in 2005, has returned to a gloss finish that their new livery embodies.
The team explained that the “heritage white base” of the RB22's 2026 design aims to enhance depth and clarity, making the iconic sun and bull logo more prominent.
This season, Isack Hadjar, transitioning from sister team Racing Bulls, will team up with four-time world champion Max Verstappen. Following their 2023 Teams' Championship win, Red Bull is eager to reclaim the World Championship.
Verstappen will race under number 3, his preferred choice, for the 2026 season, opting for the number previously held by former teammate Daniel Ricciardo.
Red Bull finished third in the Teams' Championship last season, with Verstappen making a remarkable surge to contend for the drivers' title until the final race in Abu Dhabi during the 2024 season.
Hadjar, his teammate, will retain the number six after joining Red Bull following a single season with Racing Bulls. Pierre Wache will lead the technical team while Laurent Mekies, who stepped in as Team Principal midway through the previous season, will oversee operations.
