The 25-year-old opener secured his seventh ODI hundred off just 95 balls, further establishing himself as one of the most reliable batters in the format.

During this milestone innings, Gill achieved two extraordinary records. He became the fastest player to reach 2,500 ODI runs, accomplishing this in his 50th match and surpassing South Africa’s Hashim Amla, who previously held the record at 51 innings. Moreover, the captain of the Gujarat Titans reached 5,000 international runs in just 131 innings across all formats.
