Key Takeaways
Ahmedabad, April 14 (NationPress) The Gujarat Titans have issued a ticketing notice regarding the newly rescheduled match against the Chennai Super Kings, following the revised timetable released by the BCCI for the current season of the Indian Premier League 2026.
“The Gujarat Titans are dedicated to a fan-centric approach by providing flexibility for those who have previously purchased tickets to cheer for the team. With fans central to every decision, the franchise aims to ensure a seamless and hassle-free experience for all attendees. Ticket holders who booked through BookMyShow will receive a notification via SMS, WhatsApp, and/or email offering two choices: keep their tickets for the new date or request a full refund, which will be processed within 8–10 business days,” the franchise explained.
“The cutoff to reply is April 20 at 12 PM. If no response is received, tickets will automatically be considered retained. For physical tickets, refunds will be processed only after the successful return of these tickets. Detailed instructions for returning physical tickets will be communicated starting April 21 through SMS, Email, and WhatsApp. All ticket holders are urged to carefully review this communication and respond promptly,” GT added.
The schedule for the GT-CSK match was altered due to municipal elections in Ahmedabad and surrounding areas of Gujarat, set for April 26. As per the updated itinerary from BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia, the afternoon game between GT and CSK, which was initially scheduled for April 26 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, will now take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on the same date.
The match is still set to commence at 3:30 PM IST. Consequently, the reverse match in Chennai on May 21, which was originally planned for the evening, will now occur in Ahmedabad with a new start time of 7:30 PM IST.
