Reflecting on the nail-biting clash between Delhi and Haryana, Rishank mentioned on JioStar, "The final five minutes were absolutely electrifying, particularly with Haryana Steelers making a comeback. Vinay’s rapid raid points were pivotal; he even tackled Ashu twice, which shifted the momentum. The drama in the last raid was just spectacular.

"Neeraj Narwal’s second-to-last raid, where he secured a bonus point with brilliant footwork, was the game-changer. That single bonus turned the tide for Dabang Delhi. Had Delhi been tackled at that moment, Haryana Steelers would have left with an all-out and two additional points. The heartbreak was palpable in the Steelers’ camp, but that’s the essence of kabaddi; these intense moments challenge a team's resolve, and they must learn to move forward from this.”

Haryana Steelers’ coach Manpreet Singh kept the team motivated throughout the match and was particularly serious in the closing minutes. Rishank noted, "The motivation Coach Manpreet provided in the dying moments was exceptional. He reminded the players, ‘A one-point loss or win; that’s the difference this match will make.’ That truly ignited their spirits.

"Vinay, in particular, stepped up with consecutive raids, scoring 18 points from 19 raids, which is incredible. For me, he was the standout raider for the Steelers, and his performance truly impressed me.”

Discussing Ashu Malik’s contributions, he stated that the 23-year-old’s influence was vital to countering the threat posed by Haryana.

“Ashu declared his return in the last match, and he carried that form forward. From the outset, his raids were sharp and relentless, constantly pressuring Haryana’s defense. He’s a skilled player who knows precisely when to strike and how to score.

"His presence was crucial for Delhi, especially in mitigating the threats from Vinay and Shivam Patare. The defensive pairing of Fazel Atrachali and Surjeet also made significant contributions, effectively anchoring Delhi.”

Earlier in the day at the SDAT Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium in Chennai, Gujarat Giants triumphed over UP Yoddhas 33-27, with all-rounder Mohammadreza Shadloui shining as the key player for the team.
