Ranchi, July 14 (NationPress) - Hockey Jharkhand has been declared the champions of the 15th Hockey India Sub-Junior Women's National Championship 2025 - Division ‘A’ after triumphing over Hockey Association of Odisha with a score of 1-0 in the final held at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh AstroTurf Hockey Stadium on Monday.
Hockey Haryana claimed the bronze medal by outperforming Hockey Mizoram in a thrilling 3-3 match (SO 5-4) for the 3rd/4th position.
In the championship final, Hockey Jharkhand secured a narrow victory against Hockey Association of Odisha with a lone goal scored by Jirn Soy Munda (27’). Both teams displayed remarkable defensive strategies, making it difficult for either side to find the back of the net.
