Bengaluru, Nov 2 (NationPress) India A resumed their innings on Day 4, continuing from where they left off on Day 3, with Rishabh Pant and Ayush Badoni building a steady partnership at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground 1.
On Day 3, they concluded at 119-4 in 39 overs, requiring 156 runs for victory with six wickets remaining. Pant and Badoni combined for a 53-run partnership before the visitors removed the in-form wicketkeeper-batter.
Pant, who began the day with a score of 64 not out, advanced into the nervous nineties but fell to Tiaan van Vuuren in the 49th over for 90, leaving the hosts at 172/5 in their pursuit of 275 runs.
Badoni and Kotian attempted to stabilize the innings, but Badoni was dismissed after scoring 34 runs off 47 balls, as van Vuuren struck again in the 53rd over, ending their 23-run sixth-wicket partnership.
