Visakhapatnam, Sep 1 (NationPress) India has officially concluded its week-long training camp in preparation for the 2025 ICC Women’s ODI World Cup at the ACA-VDCA Stadium, located in Visakhapatnam. The camp focused not only on skill development and fitness but also included various match-simulation exercises leading up to the prestigious tournament.

Opening batter Pratika Rawal expressed her optimism regarding the team's batting capabilities. “We encountered numerous scenarios during our training. Most of us managed to handle them well, and I believe it’s a fantastic beginning. Some of us batted exceptionally. I am very confident about the depth this team possesses, which will be beneficial for us,” she stated in a video shared on BCCI’s social media platforms.

Pratika also emphasized the growing team spirit, stating, “The way we are connecting is remarkable. The girls are gaining a better understanding of each other’s viewpoints, which is a positive indicator. Our team appears united,” she added.

Bowling all-rounder Arundhati Reddy mentioned that the camp presented her with valuable challenges, especially in refining her bowling techniques against high-caliber national team batters. “I've faced a few challenges when bowling to the batters. However, this pushes us both to perform at our best, and I thrive on such challenges,” Reddy explained.
