Guwahati, Dec 29 (NationPress) The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) announced that ticket sales for the third men’s T20I match between India and New Zealand, scheduled to take place at the ACA Stadium on January 25, will commence on Thursday.
“Tickets can be purchased exclusively via BookMyShow (BMS) starting at 4:00 PM. Fans will receive an M-ticket upon successful booking, ensuring a seamless entry into the stadium,” stated ACA CEO Pritam Mahanta.
He emphasized that ticket prices are set at affordable rates to encourage maximum attendance from cricket enthusiasts. Tickets for students are priced at Rs 500, while prices for other seating categories start at Rs 1,000.
“The Assam Cricket Association warmly invites all cricket fans to join this eagerly awaited international clash, as Guwahati once again takes the spotlight on the global cricket stage, promising an atmosphere filled with excitement, pride, and top-tier cricket action,” Mahanta added.
In 2025, the ACA Stadium hosted matches during the Women’s ODI World Cup and featured its inaugural Test match with the India-South Africa encounter, which was won by the Temba Bavuma-led Proteas by 408 runs.
This match in Guwahati is part of a series of five T20Is that India will play against New Zealand as part of their final preparations for the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup, set to be held in India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8.
The T20I series begins with the opening match on January 21 in Nagpur, with other venues including Raipur, Visakhapatnam, and Thiruvananthapuram in addition to Guwahati.
Leading India will be Suryakumar Yadav, who will be supported by players such as Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Rinku Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Varun Chakaravarthy.
On the other hand, New Zealand will be under the captaincy of Mitchell Santner, featuring players like Devon Conway, Jacob Duffy, Matt Henry, Kyle Jamieson, Daryl Mitchell, James Neesham, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, Tim Robinson, and Ish Sodhi among others during their tour to India for the T20I series.
