They clinched both the gold and silver in the mixed and women’s team events, respectively, showcasing their prowess in archery.
On Friday, India secured a total of ten medals, comprising two gold, four silver, and four bronze across individual and team events in both recurve and compound archery.
In the men’s individual compound final, Uday Kamboj emerged victorious over Asian Games medallist Prathamesh Jawkar with a score of 145-144, while Rajat Chauhan triumphed against Peerawat Rattanapongkiat from Thailand, also at 145-144, completing a clean sweep for India.
Additionally, the bronze medal in the women’s individual compound archery was secured by Tejal Salve, who defeated Mariia Dimidiuk with a score of 144-135. The Indian compound archers dominated the team events, capturing gold and silver in the mixed and women’s team events, respectively.
